The trek to Pangarchulla Peak starts from the village of Dhak near the town of Joshimath. After a short drive from Joshimath, we arrive at Dhak which serves as the trailhead for the trek. The initial few kilometers involve a steep ascent through dense rhododendron and oak forests. The lush greenery and chirping of colorful birds lift our spirits as we make our way higher. The next stretch opens up to gorgeous views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks such as Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, and Trishul.
